COURSE DATE: August 15 - 16, 2025
COURSE TIME: 8:00am - 2:30pm CST
EMDRIA TRAINER: Patti Miller
LOCATION: Twin Cities metro area (TBD)

Learning Objectives

  1. Understanding the Adaptive Information Processing (AIP) system, 3 Prongs, and 8 phases of EMDR therapy when treating complex trauma and dissociation.
  2. To overview neurology as it pertains to understanding accomplishing goals of the preparation phase when working with complex trauma and dissociation.
  3. Learn about the stress response system and optimal arousal zone as it relates to the development of symptoms.
  4. Learn about ‘Relational Cohesion and Autonomy’, a foundation of the AIR Network Framework, as it applies to additional resourcing needed when working with complex trauma and dissociation.
  5. Learn the ‘Brave’, an adapted protocol for phases 3-8 phases of EMDR therapy to facilitate successful and regulation-based memory reprocessing.
  6. Learn to observe and facilitate the development of the Most Resourced Self, which is a brain structure and function, allowing clients to stay in present orientation during reprocessing phases of EMDR therapy.
  7. Learn development of Internal Relational systems, aiding in regulation and present orientation.
  8. Learn about ways to organize the targeting sequence with a more complex case.
  9. Learn about neuroplasticity, neurogenesis, and synaptogenesis and their role in successful reprocessing outcome.

Spreading hope for healing through EMDR therapy.

A plant mostly considered a weed, the entire dandelion (leaves, flower and root) has nutritional and medicinal value. In its lifecycle’s final form, the wind-born thistle is a metaphor for the launch of a new life, uplifted by learning, healing and resilience.
